Savior of Sound aka Space Mom aka REZZ has dropped her debut album, “Mass Manipulation” and it has been doing damage to the charts since its August 4th release.
REZZ on the album: “‘Mass Manipulation’ is a commentary on how easily our minds can become manipulated by the things we consume in society. We consume heavily through the media, which, in turn, tries to curate our thoughts and dictate how we as humans are supposed to live and behave. This album plays off this idea and invites people to become hypnotized, allowing their brains to be manipulated by my music in the hope they might see things through a new perspective (perhaps an outer world viewpoint). One where everyone is free from the unrealistic expectations planet earth has drawn for them. A world of acceptance and hypnosis. @_@”
To celebrate REZZ’s debut album, we’ve designed a custom headband for “Mass Manipulation“. Now until August 19th, you can enter to win a pair of REZZ’s fav SOL REPUBLIC Master Tracks headphones with the exclusive “Mass Manipulation” design.
The Initial Reviews
EDMSauce.com breaks down each track on REZZ’s “Mass Manipulation”:
“This is a perfect example of how beautiful aggressive music can be.” – about Premonition
“You never know what Rezz will bring to a track but you do know it will induce involuntary swaying.”
“Its eight tracks make for a sickly sci-fi journey, an aural exploration of all the things that pull our puppet strings. There’s an ever-present sense of something sinister, like some monster lurking just on the periphery of your vision.”
“All in all ‘Mass Manipulation’ has pushed electronic music forward, breaking the molds of what is expected and created a new standard in dance music. Easily one of the most impressive albums we have heard to date. A perfect 5 star.”
Kicking off her world tour at Electric Zoo in New York, REZZ will continue to cultivate her fans by touring throughout the United States, India, Australia and the United Kingdom with more dates still to be announced. Find tickets to a show near you
