Afrojack x Jay Karama – Diamonds

Afrojack and Jay Karama team up to bring us their first trap anthem of 2017, “Diamonds.” Jay Karama talks about what it was like to work with Afrojack via earmilk.com saying:
“Working with Afrojack was a surreal experience. I was collaborating with the very person that inspired me to start producing music years ago! Our styles had combined so seamlessly and upon completion in The Netherlands we couldn’t stop listening back to it! It was fucking dope.”

Diplo & Jauz Remix: MØ – Final Song

Okay, so this track was technically released in 2016 but since we took a hiatus on Fresh Music Friday for the holidays, we’re still going to add this banger to the playlist. Savior of Sound Jauz & Diplo put their spin on, “Final Song” by MØ.

Cashmere Cat – Throw Myself A Party

Another end of December track, Cashmere Cat releases the official version of, “Throw Myself A Party” with some help from 2 Chainz, Starrah and Tory Lanez. We’re fans of the blend of hip hop and electronic music and Cashmere Cat perfectly blends the styles because whether you’re into hip hop or EDM, we all just want to party.

Snakehips x MØ – Don’t Leave

MØ is doing work! With her sophomore album expected to drop in early 2017, she starts the year off by lending her vocals to Snakehips’ newest single, “Don’t Leave.”

EP: Flosstradamus x FKi 1st x Graves – Came Up (Remixes)

Flosstradamus first released their song, “Came Up” in July of last year. Today they dropped an EP full of remixes by Jorgen Odegard, Rickyxsan, graves & Clips X Ahoy and Casper & B. How does one choose their favorite remix though?

Armin van Buuren x Garibay – I Need You

“Once again going where few dare to venture, Armin van Buuren explores his musicality even further. Teaming up with super producer Fernando Garibay and featured singer Olaf Blackwood, he gives rise to this monumental out-of-the-box offering and shows that his production prowess knows no boundaries. A particularly infectious record that’s sure to turn heads, ‘I Need You’ is creativity in its purest form.” – via SoundCloud

The xx – Say Something Loving

Freshly announced for Coachella 2017, The xx will be releasing new tracks as we lead up to the April festival. Their first single, “Say Something Loving” from their forthcoming album I See You. The xx are gearing up for their tour so if you’re unable to catch them at Coachella, click here to check out their other tour stops.

Ed Sheeran – Shape of You & Castle On The Hill

After going ghost on social media for a year and not releasing any new music for two and a half years, (yes, it’s been that long!) Ed Sheeran comes out of hiding with two new tracks he released at midnight. “Shape of You” and “Castle On The Hill.” Listen to both tracks below.

Kehlani – Undercover

Another 2017 Coachella performer, the Bay Area’s own Kehlani dropped a new track earlier this week from her upcoming album, Sweet Sexy Savage that starts with her twist of Akon’s, “I Got You.”

Sam Hunt – Drinkin’ Too Much

Country blended artist, Sam Hunt’s new single is his redemption song to the girl who inspired a lot of Sam’s music on Montevallo. Apparently it worked! Tabloids are reporting that Sam got engaged on NYE to the girl he wrote the song for. He released two version of the song. “Drinkin’ Too Much – 8pm” is an acoustic version for paying homage to his traditional country roots.
